Australian dollar still above what gov't wants

The Australian dollar has continued to remain above the levels the national government desires and was trading at just over 79 U.S. cents on Wednesday.

The Reserve Bank of Australia wants the local currency at 75 U. S. cents as part of overall economic policy, but cannot influence the international market. Endi
