Spanish stock market drops 2.74 pct, closes at 11,115 points

Spain's benchmark stock market index, Ibex 35, fell 2.74 percent on Tuesday to close at 11,115.60 points, down from the 11,429.10 points of Monday.

IAG shares led falls plummeting 6.50 percent, followed by Mapfre, Banco Sabadell, Caixabank and Indra which lost 6.46 percent, 3.90 percent, 3.50 percent, 3.81 percent and 3.50 respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led paltry rises climbing 0.11 percent, followed by Jazztel (0.04 percent).

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 127.10 points on Tuesday at closing time, rising from the 107.60 points of early trading, while Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.773 percent at Tuesday's closing time, also rising from the 1.50 percent of early trading. Endit
