Xinhua, May 5, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Houston Rockets fell to the Los Angeles Clippers 117-101 Monday night at Toyota Center in Game 1 of their second-round NBA playoffs.

The Rockets led uneasily in the first half and quickly gave their advantage away in the second. A late spurt by the Clippers in the final period pushed Houston farther from victory.

Dwight Howard, the only Rockets player in his element, had 21 points and 10 rebounds. James Harden added 20 points and 12 assists, but committed nine turnovers.

Blake Griffin had 26 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists for the Clippers who played without Chris Paul. Jamal Crawford chipped in 21 points and Matt Barnes added 20 points. Endi
