Myanmar U-23 soccer team to train in Japan, Vietnam for SEA Games

The Myanmar U-23 soccer team will take training in Japan and Vietnam ahead of 28th SEA Games to be hosted by Singapore this year, sports circle said Monday.

During the training time in both countries, Myanmar team will play friendly matches against teams from Japan and Vietnam.

Myanmar will play friendly against Japan from May 8-19.

It is also scheduled to play friendly match against the Vietnamese U-23 team in Ho Chi Minh City on May 22.

A 29-member Myanmar U-23 team has been under training since April 19 and 23 players of them will compete in the SEA Games.

Myanmar U-23 is pooled in Group A with host Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and the Philippines. Endi
