Nearly 400 Myanmar athletes to take part in the 28th SEA Games

A total of 393 Myanmar athletes will take part in the 28th Southeast Asian Games to be hosted by Singapore this year, sports circle said Friday.

Myanmar national athletes will participate in 31 out of 38 sports events such as football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, cycling, boxing, Judo, Taekwondo, archery and wushu.

Myanmar team is expected to win over 50 gold medals at the 28th SEA Games scheduled to take place in Singapore from June 5 to 16.

Myanmar team grabbed over 80 gold medals in the 27th SEA Games hosted by Myanmar in 2013. Endi
