China to present cultural feast to visitors at Milan Expo: official

A Chinese official said on Wednesday that during the Expo, which will be inaugurated on May 1 with a duration of six months, visitors from all countries could enjoy China's marvelous agriculture exhibits.

In line with the theme "Land of Hope, Food for Life", China Pavilion will showcase the country's agricultural history, food culture and its future expectation to the world, said Wang Jinzhen, Commissioner General of China Pavilion and Vice-Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

"Visitors from all countries could enjoy our marvelous exhibits including the 'Rippling Wheat', Chinese delicacies, agriculture science and technology, as well as our life ideas such as 'Food -Human's First Necessity', 'Wisdom for the Future', 'Balanced Nutrition and diet' and etc," Wang said.

In addition to that, China Pavilion will also organize rich and colorful activities including 17 Cultural Weeks and Days of Provinces and Cities, as well as 10 Corporate Days.

"During the Expo, a large number of Chinese visitors is expected to visit the expo, which will also be a highlight," he added.

Expo Milano 2015 focuses on agriculture, grain and food, and composes of 53 self-built pavilions and exhibitors from 148 countries and international organizations.

As the last host of World Expo, China presents three exhibitors this time - the China Pavilion, the China Corporate United Pavilion and the Vanke Pavilion, covering a total area of 6700 square meters. Endit
