Spanish stock market falls 1.97 pct, closes at 11,378 points

Spain's stock market index Ibex-35 fell 1.97 percent on Wednesday to close at 11,378.90 points, down from the 11,607.70 points of Tuesday.

ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 4.88 percent, followed by Indra, BBVA, Gamesa and Red Electrica that lost 4.33 percent, 3.79 percent, 3.68 percent and 3.29 percent respectively.

On the other hand, only Jazztel shares rose 0.196 percent.

Spain's risk premium stood at 116.1 points on Wednesday closing time showing no major variations when compared with Tuesday closing time.

Meanwhile, Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.444 percent on Wednesday, which was above the 1.321 percent of Tuesday. Endit
