French stock market index up 1.30 pct on Monday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed after gaining 1.30 percent at 5,268.91 points on Monday, up 67.46 points.

On the news of Greece reshuffling its negotiations groups with the European Union and the International Monetary Fund, the CAC 40 closed slightly higher on Monday with 37 of the 40 selected companies gaining advances.

Monday's top three gainers were Capgemini, up 7.87 percent, ArcelorMittal, up 3.39 percent, and Total, up 2.43 percent.

The only three companies whose stocks dropped on Monday were Pernod Ricard, down 0.30 percent, Alcatel-Lucent, down 0.16 percent, and Renault, down 0.04 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.44 percent at 5,201.45 points, up 22.54 points. Endit
