China stocks open higher Monday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 48.24 points, or 1.1 percent, to open at 4,441.93.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 14,749.02, up 150.33 points, or 1.03 percent.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 46.85 points or 1.71 percent higher at 2,781.6 points. Endi
