Parliamentary elections kick off in Benin

Over 4.47 million voters are expected to cast their votes in 13,606 voting stations as parliamentary election kicked off on Sunday in Benin.

They have to elect 83 deputies of the seventh term National assembly from 1,660 candidates of which 200 ladies are from 20 political parties and alliances.

According to electoral code, voting operations should be performed from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time. Endi
