Myanmar selects squad for AFF women's championship

Myanmar Football Federation has selected 23 players for the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Women's Championship to be held in Ho Chi Minh City in May, according to the federation Wednesday.

The championship is scheduled to take place from May 1 to 10.

As a preparedness, Myanmar will play friendly match against Thailand on Sunday after taking 6-day joint-training with the Thai team.

For the championship, Myanmar was pooled in group A along with host Vietnam, the Philippines and Malaysia, and will play host Vietnam on May 2, the Philippines on May 4 and Malaysia on May 6. Endi
