French stock market index up 0.10 pct on Tuesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.10 percent at 5,192.64 points on Tuesday, up 5.05 points.

Affected by the mixed indicators of the United States and the worries about the situation in Greece, the CAC 40 closed only slightly higher on Tuesday with 27 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

Tuesday's top three gainers were Publicis Groupe, up 6.18 percent, Renault, up 4.09 percent, and Alcatel-Lucent, up 3.82 percent.

The three companies that lost most on Tuesday were ArcelorMittal, down 1.52 percent, Societe Generale, down 1.50 percent, and Total, down 1.39 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.86 percent at 5,187.59 points, up 44.33 points. Endit
