HK chief executive to attend ASEAN forum

Hong Kong Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying will visit Malaysia on April 25-26 for the 12th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Leadership Forum, the government said on Tuesday.

Leung, who will deliver a keynote speech and attend a dinner reception in Kuala Lumpur, will also meet officials from the ASEAN members, Malaysian business leaders, and Hong Kong people in Malaysia.

Leung will be accompanied by Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So, Chief Executive's Office Director Edward Yau, Director of Information Services Patrick Nip and other officials.

He will return to Hong Kong on April 27. Chief Secretary Carrie Lam will be the acting chief executive during his absence. Endi
