China reviews anti-dumping duties on imported Nylon 6

Xinhua, April 21, 2015 Adjust font size:

China will begin a review of its anti-dumping measures on Nylon 6 imported from the United States, the European Union, Russia and the Taiwan region, the Ministry of Commerce said Tuesday.

Nylon 6, or polycaprolactam, is widely used in the manufacture of hosiery, knitted garments, threads, ropes and nets.

The review, starting from April 22, came after Chinese mainland Nylon 6 companies applied to maintain the anti-dumping measures, said the ministry.

According to China's anti-dumping regulations, anti-dumping measures can be extended after the review if dumping or damages to the domestic industry would reoccur when anti-dumping measures being terminated.

China began imposing five-year anti-dumping tariffs on Nylon 6 imported from the United States, the European Union, Russia and the Taiwan region on April 22, 2010. Endi
