Finnish Prime Minister Alexander Stubb issued a statement on Monday to express his sympathy over the Mediterranean boat tragedy in which more than 700 migrants are feared have died.

"It is not only an immense human tragedy but also a serious challenge for the whole of Europe", Stubb said in the statement.
