Chinese president appoints three new ambassadors

Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed three new ambassadors, according to a statement from the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Monday.

Qi Zhenhong was appointed ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, replacing Li Chen.

Du Xiaocong was appointed ambassador to the Republic of Cape Verde, replacing Su Jian.

Wei Ruixing was appointed ambassador to the Republic of Lithuania, replacing Liu Zengwen. Endi
