Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned on Sunday the recent deadly bombing attacks in the Afghan city of Jalalabad, Tasnim news agency reported.

"Terrorism, extremism and jeopardizing lives of innocent people are unjustifiable and rejected," Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said, expressing sympathy with the families of the victims and with the Afghani people over the killings.

"Acts of terrorism are aimed at the spread of violence and instability in Afghanistan," she said.

He reiterated the call for concerted action by the regional countries and the international community in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
