Greek police arrest two suspected terrorists

Greek police announced on Saturday they have arrested two suspected terrorists in a central district of Athens.

According to the police, one of the suspects was a German, and the other a Turk. Greek authorities did not elaborate on the charges against the two men.

The two suspects, aged 47 and 56 respectively, were apprehended on Wednesday and Saturday when police were executing European arrest warrants.

Greek authorities said that German and French authorities had issued arrest warrants for the German suspect, while the Turk was sought by the German counter-terrorism service. Enditem
