French stock market index down 0.57 pct on Thursday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 0.57 percent at 5,224.49 points on Thursday, down 29.86 points.

Affected by the situation in Greece, the CAC 40 closed slightly lower on Thursday with 27 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

Thursday's top three gainers were Renault, up 2.94 percent, Lafarge, up 2.40 percent, and Airbus Group, up 1.98 percent.

The three companies that lost most on Thursday were Credit Agricole, down 2.99 percent, ArcelorMittal, down 2.59 percent, and Alstom, down 2.34 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.70 percent at 5,254.35 points, up 36.29 points. Enditem
