Chinese carrier starts direct service between Lijiang, Singapore

Xiangpeng Airlines, based in southwest China's Yunnan Province, launched direct flight between the Chinese tourist city of Lijiang and Singapore on Thursday.

The carrier will operate three flights every two weeks with each flight about four hours.

Lijiang in Yunnan Province is famous for its Old Town, snow mountains and ethnic groups.

The flight takes off at from Lijiang at 8:30 a.m. and arrives in Singapore at 12:25. The return flight takes off from Singapore at 13:25 and arrives in Lijiang at 17:20, according to the airline. Endi
