Police crack huge drug rings in east, south China

Xinhua, April 14, 2015 Adjust font size:

Police in east China's Jiangxi province have dismantled a multiple-province drug ring, confiscating 17.14 kilograms of crystal meth, local authorities said Tuesday.

The drug traffickers used to purchase large amounts of drugs in the southern Guangdong Province and sell them in northeast China. They were recently detained in Jiangxi's Xinfeng County thanks to a tip-off.

Further investigation continues.

Elsewhere, Guangdong's provincial department of public security said on Tuesday that they have confiscated more than five tonnes of drugs this year, with 5,385 suspects arrested. Endi
