Australian dollar falls to 75.87 U.S. cents

The Australian dollar was lower on Tuesday in response to weak economic data from China.

On Tuesday morning, the local unit was trading at 75.87 U.S. cents, down from 76.01 cents on Monday.

Over the past 24 hours the currency reached 76.68 U.S. cents and dropped to 75.52 U.S. cents, near a six-year low of 75.34 U.S. cents. Endi
