Finnish breweries federation's website hacked

Xinhua, April 13, 2015 Adjust font size:

The website of the Finnish Federation of the Brewing and Soft Drinks Industry was hacked early on Sunday morning, local media reported.

The federation's web pages were changed and showed a message in support of the Islamic extremist organization ISIS for a time.

The message called itself "Hackers ISIS" and was sent to "all peoples of the world and especially to governments". It said that the "Islamic State" intends to "restore dignity for Muslims ". The message also contains words that insult the United States and Israel.

Elina Ussa, managing director of the federation, believed that the Federation's pages had been selected randomly. She said that she would contact the administrators of the website on Monday. Enditem
