Last year runner-up Jordan Spieth posted the lowest 54-hole in Masters history by shooting 70, 2-under-par here on Saturday, entering the final round with a four-stroke lead.
The total shots of Spieth, 21, over the first three rounds at Augusta National was 200, 16-under-par. Spieth's 54-hole score of 200 is the lowest in Masters tournament history, breaking the record of 201 set by Raymond Floyd in 1976 and Tiger Woods in 1997.
"When I look back today, 2-under I thought would be a good score. The greens kind of baked up and got quick and slippery," Spieth said after the game.
Justin Rose, who was at 204 overall, birdied five of the last six holes for a 67 that got him into the final group with Spieth on Sunday.
Three-time Masters champion Phil Mickelson was another stroke behind after shooting 67. Both Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy shot 68 and is 10 shots back. Endi
