Xinhua, April 11, 2015 Adjust font size:

Three Indian Border Security Force troopers were injured in cross border firing from the Pakistan side at Attari check point near Amritsar in Punjab on Saturday, said local media.

The Indo-Asian News Service quoted border troops officials as saying that the injured troopers were rushed to hospital.

The incident came as relations between India and Pakistan once again became tense after a 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks suspect was released by a court in Islamabad on Friday, triggering strong protest from New Delhi. Endi
