Urgent: U.S. dollar rises on rate hike speculation

The U.S. dollar climbed against most major currencies Friday as the latest Federal Reserve minutes bolstered market speculation that the central bank was moving closer to raising interest rates.

In late New York trading, the euro declined to 1.0606 dollars from 1.0640 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 120.19 Japanese yen, lower than 120.68 yen of the previous session. Endite
