Berlin to host new 'Normandy' talks on Ukraine

German, French, Russian and Ukrainian foreign ministers will meet in Berlin Monday for a follow-up on the ceasefire agreed in February to end the Ukraine conflict, announced the German Foreign Ministry on Thursday.

"Foreign Minister (Frank-Walter) Steinmeier has invited his counterparts from France, Russia and Ukraine to the Guest House of the Foreign Ministry on Monday evening," said the ministry in a statement.

"The goal of the meeting in the Normandy format is to work further on the implementation of the Minsk agreements," the statement added. Endit
