Tractor Sazi tie Al Ahli 2-2 in AFC Champions League

Iran's Tractor Sazi of Tabriz was held to a 2-2 draw by Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia in Group D of the AFC Champions League on Tuesday.

At the Yadegar-e-Emam Stadium in Tabriz, Brazilian Eder Luciano Edinho gave Tractor Sazi a lead in the 59th minute but Omar Al Somah equalized the match in the 73rd minute.

Just after four minutes, Tractor Sazi's striker Shahin Saghebi made it 2-1. In the injury time, Al Somah scored once again for the visiting team.

One minute later, Tractor Sazi was reduced to 10-man after the referee showed a straight red card to Farshad Ahmadzadeh.

The Iranian team needed to defeat Al Ahli to improve its chance of advancing to the next stage.

After four rounds, Al Ahl stay at the top of the group with eight points and almost advance to the next stage.

Uzbek side Nasaf is second with four points and one game in hands. Tractor Sazi is third, four points behind the leader. Endi
