Chinese stocks close higher Tuesday

Chinese stocks ended higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 2.52 percent to finish at 3,961.38 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 2.03 percent to close at 13,768.73 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, increased by 1.85 percent to end at 2,556.70 points. Endi
