Xinhua, April 7, 2015 Adjust font size:

A Belarusian convoy carrying humanitarian aid has arrived in Kurdistan, the autonomous region of Iraq, on Monday, the press service of Belarusian Foreign Ministry said.

The humanitarian aid comprises mobile diesel power plants, tents, blankets, food products, and medications for the needs of refugees and internally displaced persons who left the neighboring provinces of Iraq because of the attacks by militants of the so- called Islamic State, the press service said.

The humanitarian cargo was sent to Iraqi Kurdistan in accordance with the decision of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. Endite
