Russia official proposes course on Eurasian integration in joint educational program with China

A course on Eurasian integration should be included in educational programs of the Russia-China joint university, a high-ranking Russian official said on Monday.

"We should try to work out a pilot course on Eurasian integration, which could be included into the program of the joint Russia-China university," Sergei Naryshkin, speaker of the Russian State Duma, was quoted by the Interfax news agency as saying.

Hailing cooperation between Russia and China, Naryshkin said the two countries enjoy "privileged strategic partnership" in all directions, while noting that both Moscow and Beijing are the engines of various integration projects like the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Last year, China and Russia inked an agreement on creating a joint university in Shenzhen, a booming coastal city in south China's Guangdong Province, in an attempt to boost cultural and educational exchange between the two sides. Endi
