The International Cricket Council ( ICC) President, AHM Mustafa Kamal, has announced that he will resign soon as the global governing body for international cricket denied him of his right to give the trophy of the just concluded ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

He made the announcement at a press briefing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in capital Dhaka upon his return from Australia on Wednesday afternoon.

The ICC in an anti-climax allowed its Chairman Narayanaswami Srinivasan to hand over the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 trophy to Aussie skipper Michael Clarke on Sunday after the final match between Australia and New Zealand at Melbourne Cricket Ground, a task was supposed to be done by its sitting president AHM Mustafa Kamal, also planning minister of Bangladesh.
