28 countries, regions attend int'l expo on processing, packaging in Vietnam

More than 270 companies from 28 countries and regions participated in the Vietnam International Processing, Filling and Packaging Exhibition & Conference (ProPak Vietnam 2015), which kicked off here on Tuesday.

ProPak Vietnam 2015, the 10th edition of its kind, showcased the latest products, technologies and services in the field at eight international group pavilions led by technology exporters in packaging equipment from Germany, Italy, South Korea, China's Taiwan, Japan, Thailand and Singapore, said organizers.

During the three-day expo, which will last through Thursday, conferences on specialized topics will be held, including"Food Safety, Green Packaging and Eco-Manufacturing,""Green Packaging and Eco-Manufacturing in Vietnam,""Processing Technologies for Nutrition and Food Safety,"among others.

First held in 2005, Propak Vietnam is rated as a leading show of this kind in the country.

The event was co-organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)'s Exhibition Services Company and Singapore Exhibition Services Company. Endi
