Turkish plane makes emergency landing in Casablanca

Xinhua, March 30, 2015 Adjust font size:

A Turkish airlines Boeing 777-300 ER from Istanbul to Sao Paulo made on Monday an emergency landing in Casablanca international airport after a note with a bomb threat was found inside the airplane's toilet.

The plane landed at 12:30 GMT and the 264 passengers onboard were evacuated for further search operations.

So far there is no confirmation whether it comes to a false warning, but the Turkish Airlines said the follow-up procedures would continue to ensure the security of passengers. Endit
