The 22nd International Fair of Amber, Jewellery and Gemstones AMBERIF 2015 ended in the Polish seaside town of Gdansk on Saturday.

The fair is one of the biggest jewellery industry trade shows in Central and Eastern Europe. More than 470 companies from 18 countries, including Brazil, Ethiopia, Spain, India, Japan, US, Germany, Turkey, Britain and Poland participated. All of them were professional amber jewellery companies.

The fair was an occasion to present recent trends and concepts in amber fashion to buyers and visitors, most of whom are jewelry store and gallery owners and wholesalers from more than 50 countries and regions.

The fair featured many events, including a special presentation of amber jewellery collections, held as part of the programme for promotion of the jewellery and amber industry.

Another integral part of the event was prestigious awards granted to the winners of amber-themed competitions.
