KIEV -- A pilot was killed early Thursday when his single-engine aircraft crashed in Ukraine's western Volyn region, authorities said.
The accident occurred shortly after midnight local time (2200 GMT Wednesday), when a light An-2 aircraft crashed into a private house in Promin village and caught a fire, the State Service for Emergencies said. (Ukraine-Plane-Crash) Endit
