Xinhua, March 26, 2015 Adjust font size:

Food poisoning has claimed at least one live and put several army and police officers in hospital in Rwanda's district of Ngoma, some 180km from the capital Kigali, hospital sources said on Wednesday.

According to the sources, 36 people including a large number of senior army and police officers are still in hospital after they ate a poisoned locally-made bread.

Last year, several hundreds of people including participants at a national conference were hospitalized after eating rice suspected to have contained toxic substance during an official national event organized at the Rwandan parliament in Kigali. Endi
