French stock market index down 1.32 pct on Wednesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 1.32 percent to 5,020.99 points on Wednesday, down 67.29 points.

The CAC 40 closed lower on Wednesday with 33 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

Wednesday's top three gainers were ArcelorMittal, up 1.68 percent, Veolia Environnement, up 0.65 percent, and Technip, up 0.42 percent.

The three companies that lost most on Wednesday were Accor, down 4.25 percent, Capgemini, down 3.62 percent, and Peugeot, down 2.76 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.67 percent to 5,088.28 points, up 33.76 points. Endit
