Dollar trades in upper 119 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 119 yen range in early trading Wednesday, almost unchanged from its levels in New York overnight.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 119.78-79 yen compared with 119.69-79 yen in New York and 119.60-62 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.0904-0905 dollars and 130.61-62 yen against 1.0919-0929 dollars and 130.77-87 yen in New York and 1.0951-0952 dollars and 130.98-131.02 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endi
