EU to assist in air crash probe: commissioner

European Union (EU) Commissioner for Transport Violeta Bulc on Tuesday said on her official Twitter account that the EU would assist in investigating the plane crash in southern France.
"I have learned about the plane crash 4U9525 in France. Our thoughts are with families of passengers. EU services will assist in investigation," Bulc said.
The ill-fated passenger jet A320 crashed Tuesday in southern France.
German budget airline Germanwings confirmed on Tuesday that its flight 4U9525 had an "accident" over French Alps with 150 people on board.
It is an Airbus A320 plane and was flying from Barcelona in Spain to Duesseldorf in Germany. There were 144 passengers and 6 crew members on board, said the company in its twitter account. Endit
