Singapore stocks close 0.09 pct higher

Singapore stocks finished higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 3.13 points, or 0.09 percent, to close at 3,413.26.

A total of 1.05 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 02 billion Singapore dollars (744.5 million U.S. dollars).

Gainers outnumbered decliners 239 to 173, while 517 others finished unchanged.
