Rockets fall to Suns at home court

Xinhua, March 22, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Houston Rockets ended their three-game winning streak Saturday night by losing to the Phoenix Suns 102-117 at Toyota Center.

The Suns took advantage of a big third quarter to establish a double-digit lead the Rockets fought hard to erase. They once cut the deficit to five points in the final period, but Phoenix responded with their runs in return and held on to the final victory.

Eric Bledsoe scored a career-high 34 points and P.J. Tucker added 19 for the Suns. Donatas Motiejunas chipped in 18 points and James Harden had 16 for Houston after scoring a career-high 50 in Thursday's win over Denver.

The loss snapped the Rockets' five-game winning streak against the Suns, their longest since 1971, and kept them from their first-ever sweep of a season series with Phoenix. Endi
