Militants attacked a police station in Indian-controlled Kashmir on Friday, officials said.

The attackers, believed to be a fidayeen (suicide attackers) group, stormed Rajbagh police station in the morning in Kathua district, 333 km south of Srinagar city, summer capital of the Indian-controlled Kashmir.

Reports pouring in from the area said a heavy exchange of fire is going on between the militants and police personnel. Endi
