French stock market index up 0.07 pct on Thursday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.07 percent at 5,037.18 points on Thursday, up 3.76 points.

The CAC 40 closed slightly higher on Thursday with 18 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance, while AXA stayed the same as previous trading day.

Thursday's top three gainers were Valeo, up 2.80 percent, BNP Paribas, up 1.36 percent, and Societe Generale, up 1.32 percent.

The three companies that lost most on Thursday were LVMH, down 1.43 percent, ArcelorMittal, down 1.40 percent, and Kering, down 1.40 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.09 percent at 5,033.42 points, up 4.49 points. Endit
