Senior CPC official meets Angola delegation

China is ready to advance the strategic partnership with Angola, senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Liu Yunshan said here Thursday afternoon.

Liu, a Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made the remark as he met with a delegation of the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), the ruling party of Angola.

The delegation was headed by Roberto de Almeida, former parliamentary speaker and vice president of the MPLA.

Liu said the CPC values relations with the MPLA by strengthening high-level contact and deepening exchanges of experience on governance.

Liu said Chinese economy that enters a new stage of growth will bring about even greater opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation with other countries.

China has the confidence to achieve growth of better quality, which will benefit Africa and the rest of the world, he said.

De Almeida said the MPLA is ready to step up exchanges and cooperation with the CPC to promote the growth of bilateral relations. Endi
