The Belgian and French governments pledged to fight global terrorism on Wednesday.
Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel and his French counterpart Manuel Valls, met here and discussed the issue of terrorism within their territories.
The leaders also condemned the bomb attack at the Bardo National Museum in Tunis, which has seen 22 people dead, including 20 tourists.
According to Michel, the act was "odious" and "sickening." Valls also condemned the attack "in the strongest terms the attack," and said France and Tunisia would "work together to fight against terrorism."
The meeting follows a nationwide clampdown on suspected jihadists by Belgian authorities, which saw the terror threat level increased.
Michel said Belgian and French authorities would "further strengthen cooperation between our security and intelligence services."
"We are facing the same serious problem of jihadists," Le Soir quoted Charles as saying. Endit
