Czech Senate supports EU association of Georgia, Moldova

Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek said on Wednesday that the Senate supported the agreements on the association of Georgia and Moldova with the European Union (EU).
He said the agreements will help the two countries come closer to the EU and will have a positive impact on foreign trade.
According to Zaoralek, the agreements constitute a specific reform programme in law and the civil service, they will deepen cooperation in a number of branches, anchor a free trade zone, and encourage economic growth and business opportunities.
Zaoralek said the agreements will help increase the exports of Moldovan to the EU by 16 percent, while the exports of the EU to Moldova by 8 percent. For Georgia, the effect will be similarly with the cancellation of import customs.
