Hollande expresses solidarity with Tunisia after deadly attack

French President Francois Hollande on Wednesday expressed solidarity with Tunisia after a deadly attack at the country's national museum in the capital Tunis, leaving 19 dead.

In a statement released by the French presidency, Hollande expressed "France's solidarity with the Tunisian people at this very grave moment."

During a phone talk with his Tunisian counterpart Beji Caid Essebsi, Hollande said Paris stood by the Tunisian government in the fight against terror threats.

Earlier on Wednesday, three gunmen attacked Bardo museum near the parliament, killing 19 people, among which 17 were foreign tourists. Endit
