Seoul shares end lower

Seoul shares ended lower on Wednesday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) edged down 1.46 points, or 0.07 percent, to 2,028.45 at the close. Trading volume stood at 358.26 million shares worth 5.31 trillion won (4.7 billion U.S. dollars).

The South Korean currency finished at 1,129.9 won against the greenback, down 1.0 won from Tuesday's close. Endi
