Tokyo shares end mixed by break amid caution on Fed

Tokyo shares ended the morning session mixed Wednesday amid cautions ahead of the decision of the U.S. Federal Reserve's policy meeting on a possible interest rate hike.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average inched down 13.01 points, or 0.07 percent, from Tuesday to 19,423.99.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 3.05 points, or 0.19 percent, to 1,573. 55. Endi
